In South Africa you won’t find any open vehicles, like cabriolets, tuktuks or even motorbikes and scooters. Why? You attract too many criminals and you’re very likely to be hijacked. It’s like an invitiation you’re handing out…

So the citys are full of cars, vans and busses, that’s it. The same you see in Johannesburg and in the near located Southwesterntownship, Soweto. I liked how nearly every house had a car in front, whether it’s fit to drive, with wheels or not. Like everywhere in the world, the car is a status symbol and often everyhting you’ve got or you know… Appearances are deceptive!
